What one finds inside the Pantheon is quite unexpected. From this view one can’t tell what awaits them. The Pantheon is 140 ft. in diameter with a hole open to the sky in the center. This was a Roman temple that has been repurposed into a church though except for swapping the Roman gods for Saints in the niches the building has pretty much stayed the same as it was in Roman times so one can use their imagination and think about the splendor of this building.
