Roman ampitheater, 3rd-4th century CE, Neopolis Archaeological Park

Created because the Greek theatre (held 15,000 people) was deemed too small for gladitorial blood sports. Only slightly smaller than the colosseum in Verona (though it looked a lot smaller to us). We could not get close enough to see but supposedly the names of those whose seats were reserved for them are inscribed in the stone seats.
