A Rusticana, Ragusa Ibla

Sukkah Restaurant

This restaurant reminded us of a sukkah. For those who don’t know a sukkah is a temporary hut you build for this Jewish harvest festival and you eat your meals in it and sleep in it (we did when our kids were little). Anyway the sides are open and the roof is covered with branches. So you can see why this place reminded us of that and we had a lovely meal there. It also happens to be the site of some Italian detective (Montalbano) restaurant where he eats.
