As usual in trying to find the church we stumbled into the library of the former monastery (now belonging to the university since 1977) and it was nice to see real books. There are supposedly 130,000 books in this library some extremely valuable including at least 50,000 from the original monastery including parchments, bibles, and manuscripts. Some efforts are being made to preserve what they have.
