Temple of Concord

Temple of Concord, Valley of Temples

This temple was called Temple of Concord because a Roman slab describing an agreement was found there. The deity to whom it was dedicated is unknown because it was converted to a church in Byzantine times and all the “pagan” images were stripped away. You can see in this photo how the church was built inside of the temple (solid walls and arches).
