You can get a bit of proportion sense from this picture. Some scholars say this may be the head of a woman as it has feminine features but unknown how many of the figures may have been female if at all. Notice the slight smile, called the archaic smile to give “realism” to the face. No, she/he isn’t laughing at a joke.
