Cathedral, Sciacca, rebuilt in 1656 retaining Norman style

Here is an example of a cathedral not as grand or ornate as the Baroque churches we’ve been seeing and retains the Medieval Romanesque style of a more massive and solid rather than taller and lighter style of the Gothic. This would date it back to the 11th or 12th century.
